Burgeoning knowledge about the RNA world is opening up new opportunities to understand disease and develop therapeutic and diagnostic interventions. As RNA therapeutics continue to change the face of clinical practice, this conference explores progress in our understanding of the numerous roles of RNAs in cellular functions and diseases and efforts to translate advances in basic science into safer and more efficacious therapies, with a particular emphasis this year on clinical advances in cardiovascular and metabolic disease.
