Lauren Testa

Lauren Testa is a fourth year PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a researcher on the SCGE project “Postnatal and Prenatal Therapeutic Base Editing for Metabolic Diseases“ led by Drs. William Peranteau and Kiran Musunuru. In this interview, Ms. Testa discusses her work with base editing and shares her unique experience as a patient scientist in the gene editing field.
